With almost all of the favourites getting up this week, a lot of us got 8 out of 9: Ausi, Dee, Fran, Gaynor, Helen, Huddo, Jeremy, Judith, Lara, Robert, Tony and me. That means Gaynor still has her lead of 1, ahead of Tony in second on his own, and a bunch of people 1 further back.
That was such a relief that the Crows held on for their 1-point win over St Kilda. It would have been devastating if we’d lost, with all the tragic circumstances for the Dawson family during the week. Next week the Crows travel to Brisbane for a Sunday afternoon game. That will be a huge test, with Brisbane coming off a loss today. Port did well but fell just short of what would have been an incredible win over Fan’s Hawks in Melbourne. Essendon lost to Gold Coast but they suddenly seem to have found something. And Tony’s Dees bounced back with a win after a loss in the Barossa last week.
Next week begins on Thursday night with Bulldogs v Sydney at Marvel.

The Ladder after Round 6…
