Panther Watch 2026

On a muddy and slushy Woodville Oval, where South have not won in God knows how long, the Panthers extended their losing streak at the ground in quite emphatic fashion. They were never really in it, and although the umpires didn’t do them any favours, they just didn’t have enough hard runners, and it seemed like 75% of the game was played in the Eagles forward 50. But as I wrote on the South FB page afterwards, the players need to hear more yelling and support from the sidelines. South supporters are too meek and mild. If the club is to develop a winning culture, the supporters need to fire up, big time.
