Margot got all 9! Great tipping Margot. Then Dee, Helen, Hudson and Janet all got 8. As for the ladder, Helen is now two clear again. She’s leading from Judith, with Matt 1 further back and Dee, Huddo and Annie all still in with a chance (see the ‘Ladder’ page on this blog).
That was a disappointing loss for the Crows. I didn’t see any of the game (I was on the Overland coming back to Melbourne after my Unley Footy Club 40-year reunion of the ’93 Premiership team on Saturday), but Jeremy and Annie went, and, according to Jeremy, the Crows were pretty bad right from the start. They just can’t win away from Adelaide Oval this year. Meanwhile, Port notched up number 13 on the trot and Margot’s Blues have now won three in a row. Next week Carlton play Port at Docklands. Could be interesting.
Next week begins with the last Thursday night game of the year: Sydney v Bulldogs at the SCG.
