In this comp no one gets the tip for the draw, so Steph can count herself pretty bloody unlucky not to get all 9. She got the other 8! Others who did well this week with 7 were Dee, Helen, Hudson, Judith, Margot and Matt. At the top of the ladder it’s still Helen by 1 from Mum, with Matt 1 further back, and now Dee has jumped into fourth spot, 6 off the lead (see the ‘Ladder’ page on this blog).
This is becoming a really interesting footy season. With the Crows now playing with some belief, maybe they could even make the top 4, and imagine if they played Collingwood at the MCG in the first week of the finals. First thing, though, they need to beat Essendon at Docklands next Sunday, which won’t be easy. And what about that goal after siren for Port. Incredible. That has to be the best goal after the siren since Malcolm Blight for North Melbourne against Carlton at Prince Park in the 70s.
