Round 16

A bunch of people got all 7 this week – Annie, Ausi, Gaynor, Judith, Matt, Peter, Rob and Steph. Next best with 6 were Dee, Grace, Helen, Huddo, Janet and Sal. But there is no change at the top of the ladder, with Rob still leading by 2. We have 8 rounds left to tip on, and the byes are now over, so we are back to 9 games each round.

Well, the Crows were pretty good today but mainly because Richmond put up very little opposition. I was there in the cheer squad and it was a stress-free day because it was clear from very early on that the Crows were going to win. The Richmond players were just looking forward to the final siren, a shower and going home. I reckon Lynch will be hoping for a suspension of 6 games or more, so he can have a holiday – he didn’t want to be out there either. Anyway, for all that, it was good for the Crows to have a big win at the MCG. Meanwhile, Collingwood keep winning but not all that convincingly. I’m already looking forward to the Round 23 game, Adelaide v Collingwood at AO on a Saturday night. I reckon it will be a grand final preview.
