Round 10

Helen and Janet were the best of the week, getting 7 out of 9. Next best were Robert, Austin, and Ray with 6. Meanwhile at the top of the ladder, Robert has edged into the lead on his own, one ahead of Annie, Judith and Ausie. But anything could still happen in Pett Family & Friends Tipping Competition, Edition #49. There’s still a lot of tipping to be done.

Jeremy went to the MCG on Saturday for the Crows-Collingwood game. (I didn’t go. Jeremy went with one of his girlfriends – there are several). But I thought Jeremy summed the game up well when he said both sides played well in a back-and forth game but the Crows just didn’t have that ‘bit of magic’ that is needed to beat Collingwood. Sometimes the Crows produce that bit of magic but they didn’t on Saturday. So, now Collingwood have beaten Adelaide 10 times in a row. They meet again later in the year at Adelaide Oval. What a game that should be. Meanwhile, that was a shocker of a loss for Port. Also for Essendon.
