Best of the week with 7 were Annie, Austin, Gaynor, Hudson, Janet and Rob, followed by Dee, Jeremy, Judith, Matt, Peter and Ray with 6. A special mention to Steph for being the only one to tip Carlton over Geelong. Meanwhile at the top of the ladder, Annie is now in the lead on her own, leading by 1 from Judith, Robert and Austin all tied in second place.

Overall the Crows were disappointing in the west on Friday night. I thought they were a bit stiff in the first half, with 2 or 3 frees given to Freo in front of goal, with similar things not paid the other way. That swung the momentum Freo’s way. But still, we just weren’t good enough. As for other teams, Peter’s Pies are on fire and are now premiership favourites whilst Port are racking up some wins. Carlton are making a resurgence and Sydney’s slide down the ladder, unusual for them, continues.
