Round 6

There were plenty of upsets this week in a tough round for tipping. Well done to Grace, Jeremy, Sal and Steph who all got 6 out of 9. Next best were Annie, Ausi, me, Dee, Gaynor, Helen and Judith, all with 5. It’s Annie and Judith still tied in the lead, 1 ahead of Robert and Ausi.

That was a very important win for the Crows. If we can beat Freo in the west on Friday night that will take us to 5-2 and in good shape. Port too are now showing some good form whilst Sydney seem to be on the slide and Hawthorn have now lost two on the trot. I had friends over from Adelaide on the weekend (I had a party for my 60th on Saturday night) and we went to Bulldogs v St Kilda last night. It was a pretty dull, one-sided game and the St Kilda players didn’t look like they wanted to play for their coach. Let’s hope Sam Darcy is not out too long. (Side-note: his grandfather David coached South for a few years in the early 70’s and was a good friend of Dad’s).
