No one tipped Richmond in what turned out to be the boil-over the round, but well done to Annie, Ausie, Dee, Gaynor, Judith, Peter, Rob and me who got the other 8. At the end of the Round, Annie has her nose in front by 1.

Well, the Crows started the season exactly as they needed to – with a big win and with good players all over the ground. Now we have a huge test at the MCG against Essendon next Saturday. In recent years we haven’t been able to beat any side at the MCG. If we can break that hoodoo next Saturday, things will really be looking good. As for Port, how dismal were they (although all credit to Peter’s Pies). Hinkley will need to turn that around pretty quickly or he’ll find himself hit, not by a bus, but by a Carr (sorry – couldn’t resist that one).
