There were a lot of 7’s and 6’s this week. Annie, Dee, Huddo, Judith and Ray all got 7. Everyone else got either 6 or 5. Special mention to Ray and Steph for getting Hawthorn over Collingwood. At the top of the ladder, Helen’s lead is down to 1, with Judith on her tail, followed by Dee and Annie 3 further back. (See the ‘Ladder’ page on this blog).
It’s a very interesting (and unusual) season, with Port on a losing streak of 4, Collingwood now on a losing streak of 2, and Brisbane not looking convincing. Melbourne keep winning but, who knows, this could be a finals series where a team in the bottom 4 wins the premiership. Maybe Margot’s Blues, who are now on a winning streak of 7. Or maybe the Crows if we can sneak into the finals. A HUGE game for the Crows this Saturday against Brisbane at the Gabba.
Next week begins on Friday night with Collingwood v Geelong at the MCG.
