It was a tough round for tipping winners, that’s for sure, but Steph and I both got 6. The two of us were on the bottom of the ladder before this week and we led the way with 6 in this round. Next best was Margot with 5. Meanwhile, Helen got 4 which was good enough to stretch her lead to 3, with Matt and Judith tied in second place (see the ‘Ladder page’ on this blog).
What a good win that was for the Crows tonight. They’ve definitely improved this year. Let’s hope they can have a good second half of the year. Next week they play Gold Coast in Darwin, which won’t be easy, with Gold Coast having had a good win there against the Bulldogs last night. As for Port, another really good win for them, beating Richmond at the MCG in Richmond’s first game under a new coach. Eight in a row now for Port. Ken Hinkley must be sleeping a lot better at the moment.
Next week is the first week of the byes. There are only 7 games to tip on.
