Well done to Dee, Janet and Mum (Judith) for getting all 9 this week. Then, Annie, Helen, Hudson, Matt and Sal all got 8. It’s tight at the top of the ladder, that’s for sure. It’s a 4-way tie between Helen, Annie, Matt and Judith, with Huddo and Dee one back, and Margot and Sal one further back. (See the ‘Ladder’ page on the blog).
The Crows did pretty well I suppose but never really looked like winning. Port’s good run has continued, now 5 in a row, and Collingwood again ran over a side in the last quarter, albeit with the help of 24 free kicks to Sydney’s 10. How bad are West Coast! I know they’ve got a lot of injuries but their coach Adam Simpson leans on that and his side never shows any fight. They should sack him (just my opinion!)
Next week begins on Friday night with Richmond v Geelong.
