Leading the way this week were Ray and Jeremy with 8. Ray missed Freo. Jeremy was sure he was going to get all 9 after the first 8 games had been played, but Geelong let him down against Hawthorn today. It isn’t easy to get all 9 and it doesn’t happen very often! Meanwhile, Cathy got 7 and is now in the lead on her own, 1 ahead of Robert and Alice. (To see the Ladder, go to the ‘Ladder’ page).
That was a good win for the Crows although they got some help from the umps with that 33-13 free kick count. Port almost stole it against Carlton after being 51 points down. Maybe they will get their first win of the year at Adelaide Oval next week against West Coast. If they don’t, Hinkley will be on very thin ice indeed.
